Post Office Closures Condemned |

Residents have reacted with dismay to the news that two post offices in the area – those at Lelant and the Stennack – are on the list of proposed closures announced recently. Post Offices provide a vital service to their local communities and are often the social hub of their area.
At a recent Town Council meeting, Councillor Louise Channon described the proposed closures as a direct attack on the elderly and vulnerable. She pointed out that the biggest impact of the closures would fall on those most in need of help and support, such as the elderly, those with disabilities and carers. |
